Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday

Shop your local small businesses this November 24th! Small Business Saturday is about encouraging customers to shop at local small businesses. The Saturday after Thanksgiving, shoppers can visit local small businesses and help to support the local community and families. This was set up after the recession in order to promote the growth of local economies.

In 2011, Senate passed a bill approving the day. In 2012, all of the states implemented it, and it was even acknowledged by the President of the United States. More than 100 corporations support small business Saturday, and there is a Small Business Saturday Coalition.

Customers in 2017 spent more than $12 billion dollars on Small Business Saturday. More than 108 million people shopped at local businesses or restaurants. More than 90% of customers that were surveyed said that Small Business Saturday has positively impacted the community. Customers shop at local stores that are committed to quality and are invested in the community, which supports families and builds character in the city or town.

Be part of Small Business Saturday and shop at our location on November 24. There are plenty of local businesses, like food trucks, stores, and restaurants that you can show support for. Celebrate your town and help to boost the economy of small businesses on this Small Business Saturday. Spending your dollar at a family owned business or small business means that you are helping real people support their families and live their dreams.
